14 weeks!

HOW BIG IS BABY? 3.4 INCHES & 1.5 OZ – ABOUT THE SIZE OF A LEMON

DEVELOPMENT: BABY IS BEGINNING TO SUCK IT’S THUMB, WIGGLE TOES AND (NOT SO CUTE BUT EQUALLY AMAZING) MAKING URINE AND BREATHING AMNIOTIC FLUID AS THE LIVER, KIDNEYS AND SPLEEN CONTINUE TO DEVELOP. ALSO, BABY IS GETTING THIN, DOWNY HAIR THAT IS GROWING ALL OVER THE BODY FOR WARMTH.

SLEEP: I AM CONSTANTLY NEEDING CORY TO SPOON ME AT NIGHT BECAUSE HIS WARMTH MAKES MY LOWER BACK FEEL BETTER. OTHER THAN THAT, I HAVE BEEN HAVING MORE CRAZY DREAMS INCLUDING BEING STUCK IN A STORM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN THEN FALLING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN FLOOR WITH DUCKS AND LIZARD TOADS EVERYWHERE. IT WAS VERY INTERESTING..

MISSING: ENERGY.. IT IS SLOWLY COMING BACK THOUGH

CRAVING: THIS WEEK CORY AND I WERE WATCHING SHOW CALLED ‘THE GOLDBURGS’ AND THERE WAS A SCENE WHERE THE BOY WAS EATING BREAKFAST AND THERE WERE SOME GOLDEN CRISP CEREAL. THE MOMENT I SAW IT I WANTED SOME GOLDEN PUFFS (SPECIFICALLY THE MALT O MEAL BRAND) SO BAD! SO I HAD CORY RUN TO 2 DIFFERENT STORES TO FIND IT. EVER SINCE THEN I CRAVE A BOWL EVERYDAY! I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!

FEELING: OKAY… I AM SOOOO OVER BEING SICK ALL THE TIME! THIS MONDAY WAS HORRIBLE, I COULD BARELY GET OUT OF BED. BY THE TIME I GOT OUT OF BED AND ATE SOMETHING I JUST COULD NOT FEEL RELIEVED. I HAD A CHECK UP WITH MY OB THAT MORNING SO WHILE I WAS IN THE BATHROOM GETTING READY I STARTED FEELING EVEN MORE NAUSEOUS AND BEFORE I COULD EVEN PREPARE MYSELF I WAS VOMITING FROM THE SINK TO THE TOILET. AND WHILE I WAS CLEANING IT UP I WAS DRY HEAVING AND I DIDN’T STOP UNTIL I WAS HALF WAY WALKING TO MY OB’S OFFICE. LUCKILY IT IS ONLY ABOUT 3/4 OF A MILE DOWN THE ROAD.

GENDER: WE MADE OUR APPOINTMENT TO FIND OUT THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER! CAN’T WAIT!!

BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: GETTING TO HEAR MY BABY’S HEARTBEAT NICE AND STRONG AGAIN! 152 BEATS PER MINUTE 🙂

LOOKING FORWARD TO: HALLOWEEN PARTIES, HALLOWEEN AND CARVING PUMPKINS!

This past week has flown by! There have been a lot of fun and busy stuff going on. On Thursday  we had a halloween/pumpkin painting party! It started off a little rough because I was carpooling and not only did we go to the wrong house but I walked into the wrong house with a pumpkin, treats and paint about to fall out of my hands! *awkward* but once we got to the right house we watched an old 80’s scary movie (can’t remember the name of it) at and painted away! On Friday we had a Walking Dead night with some friends, and enjoyed each other’s company. Saturday, I went to a baby shower which was a lot of fun playing games, socializing and taking in all the good advise and good present ideas from other moms for my future registry. When I got home Cory and I decided last minute to drive over to Beaufort and visit my brother and sis in law (They live a little over an hour away). We had a good time fishing off their dock, relaxing on hammocks, playing with their boys and watching the classic 90’s scary movie Scream. Shanah (my sis in law) is also prego! She is exactly 3 weeks ahead of me and they finally told my family that they are expecting! They find out the gender this weekend, she is wanting a girl and of course my brother is wanting another boy. We will see, but I’m hoping it’s a girl too! We went to Boone Hall Plantation today with our friends Kaitlyn and Jordan and we picked out a pumpkin for Cory to carve, ate some Japanese food and then watched another episode of Walking Dead while Shalysse and Dave also joined us. It was great week! We are excited for our Trunk or Treat party with our church we are all going to dress up as our future selves when we get old and roll up in Dave’s grandpa car, it is going to be a classic entrance. Happppy Halloween!!

Just so you all know… I don’t think I am this big in the picture above ^^ we had just got done eating a huge meal so there was a food baby in there too!
