HOW BIG IS BABY? 19.13 INCHES WEIGHING 6.30 POUNDS – ABOUT THE SIZE OF A WINTER MELON!
DEVELOPMENT: BABY RUSH WILL WEIGH BETWEEN SIX AND SIX AND A HALF POUNDS THIS WEEK! HER GROWTH WILL SLOW DOWN AT THIS POINT AND BABY WILL BE BUSY PRACTICING FOR LIFE AFTER BIRTH. BABY GIRL IS PLUMPER AND IF BORN NOW, SHE WOULD NOT REQUIRE AN INCUBATOR TO KEEP WARM DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF SUFFICIENT FAT STORES. HER LUNGS ARE FULLY DEVELOPED, WHICH MEANS SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO BREATHE ON HER OWN IF BORN NOW. SHE HAS ALSO NOTICEABLY DROPPED QUITE A BIT!
WEIGHT GAIN: 24 LBS..
SLEEP: SLEEP IS STILL ALMOST NON EXISTANT. SLEEP IS THE MOST DREADED TIME AND ALSO THE TIME I LOOK FORWARD TO THE MOST. I’M HOPING MY COMFORT LEVEL WHILE I SLEEP WILL GET A LITTLE BETTER BEFORE THIS BABE COMES SO I CAN GET AT LEAST ONE GOOD REST IN.
MISSING: NOT FEELING LIKE I HAVE 10LBS ON TOP OF MY STOMACH EVERY TIME I WANT TO GET UP OR SWITCH SIDES. THIS BELLY OF MINE IS GETTING HEAVY!
CRAVING: FROZEN YOGURT ALL THE TIME. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY.
FEELING: READY TO PUSH THIS BABE OUT NOW! I STILL HAVE 3 WEEKS TO GO, BUT BABY GIRL HAS DROPPED AND I FEEL LIKE SHE IS JUST GOING TO SLIP OUT SOMETIMES. HAHA I HAVE AN OB APPOINTMENT ON THURSDAY SO WE WILL SEE WHERE SHE IS THEN!
GENDER: IT’S A GIRL!
BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: CORY AND I CELEBRATED OUR ANNIVERSARY IN SAVANNAH, GA THIS WEEKEND AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME! WE ALSO STOPPED BY MY BROTHER’S HOUSE FOR A VISIT HOPING THAT MY SIS IN LAW SHANAH WOULD HAVE HER BABY! SHE DIDN’T END UP POPPING HER OUT OVER THE WEEKEND BY SHE DID HAVE HER ON APRIL FOOLS DAY! HER WATER BROKE AT 6:40AM AND THEY RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL. BY THE TIME THEY GOT THERE SHE WAS READY TO PUSH AND MISS MARAE NAVY TAFOYA WAS BORN AT 8:01AM!! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND WE ARE GOING TO TRY AND GO OUT THERE THIS WEEKEND TO SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL BABE. 🙂
LOOKING FORWARD TO: CAN’T WAIT TO MEET MY LITTLE GIRL IN 3 WEEKS… OR LESS…. OR MORE : /
This weekend spent in Savannah was a great little babymoon/getaway for a bit. Cory and I walked all over downtown checking out the shops, eating delicious food and I got to experience those oh so lovely Braxton Hicks contractions all throughout the day. It was so horrible when we were in the car driving on the uneven and bumpy streets. One time it was so painful that a few tears were shed, not that I was crying it was just so painful. Other than those contractions we had a very lovely time looking at all of the beautiful architecture, spanish moss, and oak trees!
